Lulworth Cove in Dorset, is a popular tourist attraction attracting 1 million visitors annually. It is adjacent to Durdle Door, another Jurassic coast attraction.
The cove is a great place for walks and hiking, you can take a gentle walk around the beach or if you’ve plenty of energy, set off up the cliff for spectacular views and continue on to Durdle Door. If you’re not up to walking, then there’s boat trips offering short excursions around the coast to Durdle Door.
Also next to Lulworth Cove are the famous folded rock formations known as ‘Stair Hole’. They are just a short walk up the hill.
From Wareham take the A352 towards Dorchester and at Holmebridge take the B3070 towards East Lulworth. Stay on this road to the end, following the signs to West Lulworth and Lulworth Cove.
From Dorchester take the A352 towards Wareham/Poole. At Wool take the B3071 towards West Lulworth and follow the signs to Lulworth Cove.
