Nothe Fort

Nothe Fort Museum Weymouth DorsetNothe Fort in Weymouth was built to protect Portlands harbour. It is now a public museum.

Nothe Fort contains many displays detailing: the forts history, the soldiers stationed there and information on what life was like, for ordinary people living in WW2.

The fort overlooks Portland Harbour and gives great views of Portland and Chesil Beach.

The museum holds several events throughout summer, including military festivals, concerts, car & military vehicle rallies and dramas.
