Swanage Railway Dorset Attraction - photo copyright of Andrew P.M. WrightThe Swanage Railway in Dorset, currently operates on six miles of track between Swanage and Norden. The railway passes through the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, passing the ruins of Corfe Castle.

Visitors can park their cars at Nordens railway station and board the steam train, the train travels to Corfe Castle ruins, Harmans Cross and continues to Swanage.

Trains operate over the complete length of the Swanage railway track, every weekend and bank holiday, from mid-February to the end of the year, and every day of the week from April to October.
