The Tank Museum in Dorset is a popular tourist attraction. Located in Bovington, it houses the world's largest and finest collection of tanks & armoured vehicles. The museum is home to the worlds first tank, and also 'Challenger 2', the latest British army battle tank.

The tank museum covers one hundred years of military history, containing approximately 300 vehicles from over 26 countries. Inside the museum you can wander around listening to an audio tour, visit various exhibits and look at the fascinating displays of tanks in live action. There is also a life sized World War 1 trench, which you can walk through.

Events throughout the year include tanks in action and vehicle rides.
