Upton Country Park is located just a few miles from Poole town centre and offers peaceful walks, great cycle routes for cyclists, picnic areas and is a venue for various annual events.

Upton Country Park is a great place for cycling, with cycle routes going to Poole quay in one direction and Wimborne Minster (via the old railway line) in the opposite direction.

If you prefer walking then there’s plenty of walks too. The park has some nice gardens to walk around, where ducks can be seen on the pond, calf’s can be seen in the nearby fields and peacocks in the walled garden (containing some very unusual and beautiful flowers). There’s also a circular walk through the woodland, down to the shoreline of Holes Bay and back up through the gardens. Alternatively, walk the cycle route - around Holes bay and into Poole Quay.

Entrance and parking is free. Upton House is available for venues.
