Upton Country Park is located just a few miles from Poole Town Centre and offers splendid walks, great cycle routes, picnic areas and many different events throughout the year.

Upton House and Gardens is a great place for cycle rides, with routes going to Poole Harbour in one direction and Wimborne Minster (via the old railway line) in the opposite direction.

If you prefer walking then there’s plenty of walks here too. There’s the walk around the gardens visiting the ducks on the pond, the calf’s in the nearby fields and the peacocks at the end of the walled garden, which contains some very unusual and beautiful flowers. Or there’s the circular walk through the woodland, down to the shoreline of Poole Harbour and back up through the gardens. Or you could walk the cycle route around Holes bay and into Poole Harbour.

Entrance to the park is free and also the parking. Upton House is available for venues.
