Farmer Palmers was once a working dairy farm milking 110 cows, today it’s a family tourist attraction.

A pretty town, situated between two rivers, Wareham has a rich history. It was an important Anglo-Saxon town and Port, the Saxon church of St. Martin, built c.1030. has survived intact.

The Tank Museum Dorset attraction in Bovington houses the world's largest and finest collection of Armoured machines. Vehicles include Challenger 2 - the latest british army battle tank and the worlds first tank.

On Dorsets northern border lies the town of Sherborne. Situated on the banks of the river Yeo. The town is famous for it’s abbey dating back to Saxon times and it’s two castles.

Sherborne Castle is a magnificent Tudor mansion from the 16th century.

The village of Tolpuddle is famous for the “Tolpuddle Martyrs” a united group of 19th century agricultural labourers.

In the heart of Hardy Country sits the market town of Dorchester. Founded by the Romans in C 43AD, the town has much history. Places of interest include the archaeological sites of Maiden Castle, the largest Iron Age hill fort in the country, and Mau...

'The Keep' is a fine building standing at the top of the town in Dorchester. It used to be the guardroom and gateway to the depot barracks of the former Dorset Regiment.

Athelhampton House and gardens is a place I love to visit. I've been there several times and it's still one of my favourite Dorset attractions.

Poole Vineyard Church was planted by Howard and Ann Oldfield back in October 1997. The church is affiliated to Vineyard Churches UK, which currently numbers around 80 churches.
