Wareham Quay DorsetA pretty town, situated between two rivers, Wareham has a rich history. It was an important Anglo-Saxon town and Port, the Saxon church of St. Martin, built c.1030. has survived intact.

More information of the towns’ fascinating past can be obtained at the town museum situated in East Street.

Today Wareham is a bustling market town with an abundance of friendly pubs and many speciality shops. Its quayside attracts a host of pleasure craft and motor and rowing boats are available for hire.
