Weymouth is a seaside resort in Dorset, it has a very wide sandy beach and is steeped in history. Weymouth was frequented by royalty in the late 1700’s, a statue of King George III was erected in his remembrance.

Portland is a craggy peninsular, linked to Weymouth by Chesil beach. At its’ highest point, Portland offers wonderful views.

Weymouth Sea Life Park first opened in 1983 and has been steadily growing since. Not only is it a great Dorset tourist attraction, but it’s also the most successful sea-horse breeding centre in the world, having its own seahorse breeding and conservation unit.

Bennetts Water Gardens is a Dorset tourist attraction set over 8 acres. The gardens hold National and International collections of water lilies and include a Monet style Japanese bridge, tropical house, museum and woodland walks.

Nothe Fort in Weymouth was built to protect Portlands harbour. It is now a public museum.

Brewers Quay was once a brewery, but it's since been converted, into an attractive shopping village, complete with two visitor attractions.

Radipole Lake is a nature reserve in Weymouth. Radipole contains a variety of wildlife including robins, swans, ducks, house sparrows, finches and rarer species such as Cetti's warblers and bitterns.

Dorsets White Horse resides in Osmington, north east of Weymouth. The chalk horse was created in 1808.

Weymouth Whitewater run boat trips from the coast of Portland. They offer fun and fast boat trips, and slower/gentler boat excursions.
