Does God exist? Is Evolution true? How do we know who God is? These are the types of questions most of us will think about, at sometime during our lives. As a non-believer turned Christian, I know that most people believe what everyone else believes. Generally speaking, they've accepted their parents teaching as children, their school teachers teaching as teenagers and the teaching they receive through television. Consider the following: Parents teach their children all sorts of things while they're growing up. Some of which is true and some false. Why? Because If a parent sincerely believes in false ideas/beliefs as truth, they will also (un-wittingly) pass on these same false ideas to their children, teaching them as truth too. Teachers teach children evolution as truth, but they shouldn't, because no theory is ever true, it's only a theory Television companies broadcast documentaries and nature programs, these usually reference evolution sometime during the program. They never mention the word THEORY though, instead they talk about evolution as accepted truth. What is Truth? How do we know what is true and what is false in life? Can truth be known? (Incidently this is what Pontius Pilate asked Jesus: Is Jesus the truth? or is evolution the truth? Who do you believe?
